Selling Retail Items through the Rental Center
If you offer contactless, online move-ins at your facility, you don't have to miss out on retail sales. To enable you to sell locks, boxes, or other merchandise during online move-ins, we've added functionality to your Corporate Retail Items settings that help you designate which retail items you'd like to be available for purchase via the Rental Center. Once configured, you can have the benefit of offering a preferred lock for purchase during an online move-in that you can leave in a tenant's unit for them when they first access their rental.
Exclude unit types from store insurance
If you offer store insurance coverage to your tenants, but some of your unit types aren't covered by your store policy, it's in your best interest not to sell store insurance for those units. That's why we've added the ability to exclude some unit types from store insurance.
Once you've configured your software settings to exclude a unit type from store insurance, it will not be available to purchase for that unit type at move-in.
